Our Facilities
MetraPark sits on 185 acres along the Yellowstone River and is located within the Billings, MT city limits, just off Interstate 90. MetraPark began its existence as a fairgrounds early in the last century and is still the site of the state’s largest event, MontanaFair, each August.
Rimrock Auto Arena
The Arena, which can hold up to 12,000 people, is host to Montana’s largest concerts, family shows, rodeos, ice shows, motor sports events, and more. Local high school and college graduations are held in the arena annually and it is often host to many of the states’ district, divisional, and state high school tournaments. It is also home field to the Billings Outlaws United Indoor Football team.
The Arena additionally features an Exhibit Hall with breakout rooms.

The Expo Center is MetraPark’s largest multi-purpose exhibit building
and offers 77,400 square feet of space. It features heating and air
conditioning and segments into two spaces that can be rented together
or separately. Local and regional trade shows including the Montana
Agri Trade Exposition, the Billings Home Improvement Shows, Billings
Market Association, Great Rockies Outdoor Show, and the Ag and
Construction Expo are held in the Expo Building.
The Montana Pavilion is a multi-purpose exhibit building and offers
28,800 square feet of space. It is heated and air conditioned and
segments into two spaces that can be rented together or separately.
Shows including the Rocky Mountain Sewing Festival, Huff’s Antiques
Show, and the St. Vincent Child Health and Safety Expo are held in the
Montana Pavilion.
The Expo Center and Montana Pavilion together make up over two and a half acres of indoor space. Many large events such as the Montana Outdoor Recreation Exposition and Sysco Food Shows utilize both spaces which are located within close proximity to one another.

The Grandstands are host to a variety of popular outdoor events. Each
year in August and September, horse racing is held on weekends. The
Grandstands are used for a variety of motor sports events including
Monster Trucks and arenacross. High school track meets are also held
here as well as several outdoor concerts.
A collection of smaller buildings, a one-half mile track, horse barns,
parks, a large pond and paved parking comprise the remaining acreage.
