Supercross at MontanaFair

The Billings Motorcycle Club brings Montana Supercross back to MetraPark on August 13th at MontanaFair in the Grandstands. If you like high-flying motorcycle action, then this is an event you won’t want to miss. Supercross continues to be one of the most physically-demanding sports there is, and these riders punch out lap after lap of serious 30- foot air jumps, whoop sections, double and triple jumps, 100 feet long jumps, rhythm sections, roller sections and an array of other technical supercross-style track conditions.

Hunter Hayes w/ Gloriana at MontanaFair

Hunter Hayes will perform with Gloriana live in concert on August 11th at MontanaFair.

Hunter Hayes was honored as the Country Music Association’s New Artist Of The Year in 2012. Hunter was the opener for Carrie Underwood in February of 2013 here in Billings and seemed to draw his own following. In discussions with G.M. Dutcher that evening, he was thrilled when he realized he’d be a headliner at this year’s MontanaFair. Hunter’s music includes hits such as “Wanted,” “Storm Warning,” and his latest single release, “I Want Crazy”.

This will be Gloriana’s second appearance at MontanaFair as they opened for Trace Adkins in August of 2009. Gloriana released their critically acclaimed second studio album, A Thousand Miles Left Behind, in the summer of 2012 and it debuted at #2 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and at #10 on Billboard’s Top 200. Their current single, “Can’t Shake You,” from that album, has also done well on the charts.

The Offspring will perform with Chevelle live in concert on August 10th at MontanaFair.

Offspring recently released a new album, Days Go By featuring the top 10 title single “Days Go By.” The Offspring are known for their many hits including “Self Esteem,” “Come Out And Play (Keep ‘Em Separated),” “The Kids Aren’t Alright,” and “You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid.”

Chevelle released their latest album, Stray Arrow: A Collection Of Hits last December.

Brantley Gilbert at MontanaFair

Brantley Gilbert will perform live in concert on August 9th at MontanaFair. Savannah Jack will open the show.

Academy of Country Music New Male Artist of the Year, Brantley Gilbert will light up the night on Friday, August 9 with rowdy hits such as, “Country Must Be Country Wide” and “Kick It in The Sticks” as well as softer tunes such as his number one, “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do.”

Opening for Gilbert will be Savannah Jack, whose version of “America The Beautiful” roused the crowd as they opened for Billy Currington last year. Savannah Jack will also be featured on the fairgrounds throughout the week.

A&E’s Duck Dynasty

A&E’s DUCK DYNASTY IS COMING TO BILLINGS!

On Saturday, May 4 at 6:30pm Jase and Missy Robertson of A&E’s hit show “Duck Dynasty” will be appearing at MetraPark in the Rimrock Auto Arena for the benefit of Billings Christian School. The theme of their appearance will be to discuss what matters to them most – faith, family, and ducks. A moderated Q&A session will follow.

In addition, the evening will be filled with lots of red-neck fun, including raffle giveaways, prize drawings, and even a Duckmen Look-a-Like contest! Come dressed in your best Duck Commander Gear for an opportunity to win a chance to meet Jase on stage. There are a limited number of spaces for this contest, so plan to arrive early in order to be chosen.
